It is important for our customers that pension applications are processed swiftly to ensure that the appli-cant’s income is not interrupted. We made great progress in our application processing times in 2016, and Varma now provides a pension decision 9 days faster than the sector average.
Our workability management and rehabilitation services improve employee well-being and working life at our client companies. In 2016, Varma’s workability management projects covered around 400,000 employees and supervisors. 77%, or around 1,230, of Varma’s vocational rehabilitation customers returned to working life.
