Apply for termination of your YEL insurance when you take a longer leave
Apply for termination of your YEL insurance if you go on a family leave for a longer period and you will not work during the leave. Please notify us of any breaks in your self-employment, as we do not receive information on your family leave from Kela or other parties.
The insurance may be terminated if the break in your work lasts approximately four months. YEL insurance can be terminated retroactively if necessary.
