Rental apartments

Varma is a Finnish lessor, real estate investor and developer. At the moment, we own approximately 4,200 rental homes throughout Finland and are constantly constructing more. Most of our apartments are located in the Helsinki metropolitan area and Tampere, but you can also rent your new home from us in Jyväskylä, Turku, Järvenpää, Lahti and Oulu.

Your responsible lessor

As a responsible real estate owner, Varma ensures the energy efficiency of its residential buildings, for example, by concluding more ecological electricity contracts, by increasing the use of solar energy and geothermal heat and by utilising the principles of the circular economy in new construction.

There is a major energy renovation ongoing even right now, and it will halve the emissions of Varma’s housing stock by 2023. Heat pumps and solar panels are installed in 36 residential apartment houses, with geothermal heat entirely replacing district heat in some of the apartment houses. The emission reductions that are implemented correspond to the annual use of more than 1,700 petrol-fuelled cars or 7,600 return flights between Helsinki and Spain.

We take good care of our buildings so that you can feel carefree and safe when living there. With new construction and responsible investments, we ensure the future pensions in Finland.
