Report wages to the Incomes Register
A temporary employer has no permanent employees and the amount of wages it pays during a period of six months is less than EUR 10,038 (in 2025). Temporary employers are not required to have TyEL insurance contracts.
However, the wages of employees are reported to the Incomes Register and TyEL contributions are paid for them. The TyEL contribution of a temporary employer in 2025 is 26.28% of the employees' wages and includes the administrative cost contribution. The contribution percentage for a temporary employer is the same across all earnings-related pension companies and is slightly higher than for a contract employer.
