Varma's Chief Investment Officer Reima Rytsölä will move on to new tasks outside of the company

Varma’s CIO Reima Rytsölä has decided to leave his position at Varma, in order to work for another employer. Rytsölä has worked for Varma since 2014, and he has been actively developing our company’s investments and helped build e.g. Varma’s principles for responsible investment.

"I want to warmly thank Reima on behalf of everyone at Varma for his excellent work contribution to our company’s development and investments. It has been a pleasure to work with him. We wish you good luck and success in your new task", says President and CEO Risto Murto.

Rytsölä will begin in his new position at the latest on 1 October 2022. Varma will initiate the search for a successor immediately.
