Earnings-related pension secures your livelihood in different life situations. Pension accrues on the basis of earned income and, for entrepreneurs, on the basis of the confirmed YEL income. The indices for 2026 have been confirmed. You can use our calculator to estimate how the index increment influences your pension amount.
How to apply for old-age pension
Agree to terminate your employment with your employer. Fill in the old age pension application in Varma Online Service about two weeks prior to the start of your pension.
Annual letter for pensioners
The annual letters will be available in Varma Online Service after mid-January. Guardians and people living abroad will receive the letter by post.
