From 2 February, the phone service hours for pension and rehabilitation matters are 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

The opening hours of Varma’s telephone service for private customers will change from Monday 2 February 2026.

The new opening hours of the telephone service for pension and rehabilitation matters are 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., Monday to Friday. The current opening hours are 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The new service hours will be trialled until 31 March 2026. During the trial, we will be monitoring the development of customer satisfaction and the way our services are used.

The reason for the change is that, according to call statistics, most of our private customers prefer to call us between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

In addition to the telephone service, we also serve our private customers in Varma Online Service, which can be accessed using online banking and mobile credentials. All pension and rehabilitation matters can be dealt with in the online service. The online service offers functions such as the Messages and Documents service, which can be used to securely send messages to Varma.
